Driver / Material Coordinator - Houston, TX

Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspection reports.
- Make pickups and deliveries of parts and supplies in a company vehicle.
- Maintain truck on a daily basis.
- Load/unload all inbound/outbound freight.
- Assist shop personnel in the mechanic shop and yard as needed.
- Prepare material for shipment.
- Inspect warehouse equipment for proper operation and check all fluid levels daily.
- Maintain a clean workstation and secure all tools at the end of the shift.
- Know and understand Sparrows' Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Management System, Operating and Technical Procedures, and workplace instructions.
- Understand and comply with all safety and environmental requirements.
- Perform all other duties as required by the supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
HSEQ Responsibilities
- Follow the Company’s Policy for Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) and actively contribute to compliance and improvement of the Management Systems.
- Report any accidents, incidents, near misses, or potential issues with products, services, or systems to the HSE(Q) Department Manager.
- Adhere to country-specific health and safety legislation, including all Company policies, procedures, guidelines, control measures, signage, and permit conditions.
- Know emergency procedures and act accordingly.
- Ensure the health and safety of subordinates (if any) and visitors on Company premises.
Requirements
- Operate material handling equipment.
- Read, write, and speak English.
- Exposure to manufacturing or warehousing (beneficial).
- Good housekeeping skills.
- Valid Driver’s License and clear driving record.
- Ability and experience driving a truck and 28 ft. Gooseneck flatbed trailer as needed.
