About the role
The Manager, Driver will oversee the safe and efficient operation of Living Spaces Driver operations. Responsibilities include creating work schedules, managing transportation routes, maintaining vehicles, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with load planning to minimize delays and maximize driver utilization
- Closely collaborate with safety & risk team to respond to accidents and incidents promptly
- Route drivers for scheduled training and counseling sessions
- Proactively manage compliance-related functions, ensuring all necessary measures are met
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and goals for transportation operations
- Manage multi-site activities, including driver performance, safety, and compliance
- Monitor driver activity throughout the day to ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
- Provide excellent leadership to a team of drivers in a fast-paced environment
- Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of direct reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- 5 years of experience in transportation, fleet, or logistics environments
- 3 years of experience in a leadership role managing a sizable fleet operation or supply chain organization
- Current Class A license
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 including Excel, Word, and SharePoint

Benefits
- Competitive compensation range: $66,375.00 - $88,500.00

Pay and Schedule
- Hiring pay range: $66,375.00 - $88,500.00
