Driver Manager

Company Overview

DMT Trucking is a specialized flatbed operation and part of the PS Logistics family of companies. It operates over 250 trucks and nearly 375 trailers from terminals in Starke, FL; Camden, AL; and Broken Bow, OK. The fleet consists exclusively of 53‑foot over‑the‑road trailers, providing safe and reliable transportation across the eastern United States. The company’s mission is to operate the fleet safely, treat employees fairly with the resources they need, and deliver service worthy of recommendation.

Responsibilities

• Communicate ETAs with load planners.
• Utilize McLeod dispatch software to assign work to drivers nationwide.
• Direct daily driver activities to designated territories or dedicated operations in line with company policies, procedures, and business objectives.
• Provide drivers with guidance on compliance with local, state, and federal trucking regulations.
• Ensure drivers are safe, productive, and deliver on‑time to customers.
• Counsel drivers and assist with over‑the‑road issues.
• Assist drivers in keeping important documents up to date, including driver’s license renewal, random drug tests, and physicals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, **or** 1–3 years of experience in dispatch or fleet management.
• Proficient experience with truck dispatch software (McLeod preferred).
• Flatbed experience is a plus.
• Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
