Driver Lead CDL

About the role

We are seeking a Driver Lead – CDL to provide safe and reliable transportation while supporting the Transportation team through training, quality oversight, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation services for residents attending appointments, errands, community outings, and special events.
• Lead team members through training, special projects, and day-to-day operational support while maintaining a positive example for the team.
• Assist with scheduling, quality control efforts, and maintaining transportation supplies and equipment.
• Safely operate buses and vehicles, including those equipped with wheelchair lifts, while assisting residents with mobility devices and boarding.
• Conduct vehicle inspections, monitor maintenance needs, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in driving cars and/or buses, transportation services, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a position in which training and advisory functions were the primary role.
• Valid driver’s license and meet Pacific Retirement Services' (PRS’s) Employment Driver Guidelines.
• Current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A, B, or C and Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certificate.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook.

Pay

$31.00 - $35.00 / hr DOE
