Driver-Laramie (Part-Time)

About the role

Wyoming Independent Living is currently seeking a Part-Time Driver. This is a provisional PRN position, with a variable schedule of up to 15 hours per week. Additional hours may be scheduled as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive staff to scheduled appointments.
• Provide friendly, prompt, door-to-door, round trip service.
• Provide support to include lifting and carrying equipment, as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Flexibility in scheduling of hours for driving.
• Operates a low-profile vehicle without sidesteps for accessibility.
• A valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past three years.
• Must complete a background check with results satisfactory to WIL, including but not limited to criminal history, motor vehicle records, and sex offender registry.
• Must have knowledge of relevant traffic laws and safe motor vehicle operation.
• Must have the ability to read, understand, and follow route directions and maps.
• Must have a positive attitude.

Schedule

No more than 15 hours per week.
