Driver - Indianapolis (Holman Powertrain)

About the role

Holman Powertrain is seeking a Driver to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves delivering new and collecting used auto parts, operating vehicles in compliance with safety regulations, and supporting warehouse efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 26,000 GVW box truck to deliver and collect auto parts (engines, transmissions, small parts, etc.) to and from customer locations.
• Load, secure, and unload parts using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or manual lifting (up to 70 lbs. without assistance and up to 100 lbs. with assistance).
• Perform daily DOT safety checks/inspections on the vehicle and report deficiencies to a supervisor.
• Scan/log returned goods and track deliveries using a scanner/print pad.
• Check-in finished goods before loading the vehicle and stack returned product to facilitate warehouse efficiency.
• Work within weather-related extremes and comply with all state and federal safety and administrative requirements.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures; immediately report all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
• Be available for overnight stays if required by the route.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior warehouse driver experience.
• Ability to drive up to 26’ box trucks (Non-CDL required; CDL is a plus).
• Must pass a DOT application process and physical, including certification by a DOT medical examiner.
• Pallet jack/forklift experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Positive energy and ability to work in a team setting.
• Technical knowledge related to automotive parts is beneficial.

Pay

Starting pay: $22 per hour.
