Driver III-Dispatcher 3662 - Tucson

Location: Tucson • Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week) • 12-month work calendar

Shift typically falls between 5 am–7 pm, Monday–Friday. Other hours may be required as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, respond to, and maintain supervision of two-way radio communication
• Serve as a liaison between drivers, parents, and schools
• Perform a variety of documentation and other clerical activities
• Serve as back-up driver when routes cannot be covered by substitutes
• Knowledge of policies, procedures, and programs of the immediate work unit
• Principles and practices of administration and management
• Agency or program rules, regulations, and operating procedures
• Federal Communications Commission radio transmission procedures
• CPR, First Aid, and evacuation procedures

Requirements

• Current Arizona CDL with Passenger and School-bus endorsements
• Must pass FBI and State background check
• Must have or be able to obtain an Arizona Level 1 fingerprint clearance card
• Must pass post-offer physical
• Positions working directly with students must obtain Crisis Intervention Training (CIT), CPR, and First Aid certification

Pay

$16.78–$20.45 per hour
