Driver Hourly CDL-A

Position Purpose

The CDL-A Driver fulfills a critical role in the country's food supply chain. They ensure products are delivered safely and on time, interact professionally with customers and vendors, and maintain a safe and clean vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Performs all required safety checks (pre/post trip)
• Follows DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines
• Inspects and loads customer orders
• Verifies delivery of items with customers and obtains proper signatures
• Unloads customer returns and completes necessary paperwork
• Completes daily record of hours of service and enters in log
• Performs general housekeeping duties

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6+ or 12+ months commercial driving experience
• Valid CDL-A
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card
• Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move product cases/freight
