Driver, Hourly CDL-A, $10,000 Sign On Bonus

About the role

Join an awesome team of seasoned drivers delivering and unloading various food and food-related products to customers on local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and/or overnight routes. This role involves driving a tractor-trailer or straight truck intrastate and/or interstate, ensuring safe and timely deliveries in accordance with Company policies and DOT regulations. Drivers communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers while performing safety checks, inspections, and accurate paperwork.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 10-hour shifts
• Average departure between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM
• Up to one overnight per week, depending on business needs
• Safe hotels and per diem provided for overnights

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer or straight truck on local, OTR, shuttle, or overnight routes to deliver and unload food products.
• Perform pre- and post-trip safety inspections of tractor, trailer, and freight in accordance with DOT regulations and company standards.
• Report safety hazards, repairs, or issues immediately.
• Verify trailer loads, secure freight, and complete accurate paperwork (e.g., invoices, delivery confirmations).
• Unload products at customer locations, transport items to designated storage areas, and perform damage control checks.
• Obtain customer signatures, collect payments (cash/checks) where required, and handle returns.
• Complete daily logs of hours of service in compliance with federal, state, and company requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness of tractor, trailer, and loading dock areas.
• Secure all equipment and complete end-of-shift paperwork.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6–12 months of commercial driving experience (Customized and Specialty roles) or 1+ year (PFS roles).
• Valid CDL A license.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Valid current DOT Health Card or ability to secure one.
• Able to hand-lift and use equipment (e.g., two-wheeler, lift gate) to move product cases/freight weighing 60–90 pounds.

Pay

$31.00 per hour.
