Driver Helper

About the role

As a Driver Helper you’ll team up with a UPS package delivery driver to help deliver packages to homes and businesses. You’ll spend your day outdoors, interacting with customers, and helping ensure packages are delivered safely and on time. This is a seasonal position that requires flexibility; work opportunities are offered each morning based on operational needs and your availability. Schedules vary and can include Monday through Saturday, holidays, and peak delivery periods. When assigned work, you’ll meet your driver at a designated pick‑up location (meet point), often near your home or within your community. Helpers do not drive the brown truck.

Responsibilities

• Help the driver deliver packages to homes and businesses
• Lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs
• Interact with customers and provide courteous service
• Ensure packages are delivered safely and on time
• Meet the driver at the designated pick‑up location (meet point)
• Do not operate the UPS brown truck

Requirements

• Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages up to 70 lbs
• Sturdy work boots or slip‑resistant shoes suitable for outdoor work
• Weather‑appropriate attire for outdoor work
• Flexibility with day‑to‑day scheduling based on business needs and availability
• Willingness to work Saturdays and holidays as required
• Authorized to work in the United States

Pay

The base pay for this position is $21.00/hour.
