Driver Helper

About the role

Looking for a physically active seasonal opportunity in your community? As a Driver Helper, you'll team up with a UPS package delivery driver to help deliver packages to homes and businesses. You'll spend your day outdoors, interacting with customers, and helping ensure packages are delivered safely and on time.

Responsibilities

• Team up with a UPS driver to assist with package delivery
• Spend the day outdoors interacting with customers
• Help ensure packages are delivered safely and on time
• Meet your driver at a designated pick‑up location (meet point) near your home or within your community
• Do not drive the brown truck
• Receive work assignments via calls or texts to your phone

Requirements

• Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs
• Sturdy work boots or slip‑resistant shoes suitable for outdoor work
• Weather‑appropriate attire for outdoor work
• Flexibility with day‑to‑day scheduling based on business needs and your availability
• Saturdays and holiday work required depending on business needs
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay

The base pay for this position is $17.75/hour.

Schedule

Shifts vary and can include Monday through Saturday, holidays, and peak delivery periods; work opportunities are offered each morning based on operational needs and your availability; schedules vary from day to day.
