Responsibilities
- Daily vehicle and equipment inspections
- Inform Logistics Manager of required maintenance
- Keep equipment clean and in order
- Load trucks according to sales orders
- Secure loads and assist drivers with unloading
- Communicate with Logistics Manager
- Operate various equipment safely
- Work outside in all weather conditions
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Respond to safety alerts and hazardous situations
- Move swiftly and jog with urgency
- Avoid unnecessary delays
Requirements
- Maintain a valid driver's license
- Lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 80 lbs.
- Sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, climb, carry, and walk
- Operate various types of equipment
- Communicate clearly and effectively
- Recognize and respond to safety signals
- Read a tape measure
Qualifications
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Basic organizational skills and math abilities
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Composite/steel toe shoes required (boot reimbursement provided)
