Driver Helper

About the Role

The Driver Helper supports logistics operations by loading and unloading products, assisting drivers with deliveries, and maintaining strong communication across departments and with customers. This role ensures adherence to company safety practices and contributes to positive customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload company products by hand or using hand trucks.
• Collect rejected products upon approval by customer service.
• Assist drivers in locating delivery destinations.
• Compile accurate delivery records and reports.
• Report delivery-related issues to senior staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients and customers to resolve complaints.
• Liaise with the main office or warehouse logistics team to notify drivers of route changes.
• Assist with unloading the delivery vehicle at the end of each shift.
• Obtain client and customer signatures as acknowledgment of received deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform general warehouse and other assigned duties.
• Maintain a clean delivery vehicle.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Proven experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or production.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Prolonged periods of sitting in a truck during traffic or standing while loading/unloading.
• Ability to lift 30–50 pounds at a time.
• Capability to handle physical workload, including loading, unloading, pushing, pulling, stretching, and bending.
• Availability to work extended hours, weekends, or on-call as required.
