Responsibilities

• Accurately load the daily route onto the truck
• Scan daily route onto the truck
• Assist driver with navigating to deliveries
• Assist driver with carrying freight to business or residence destinations
• Utilize manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist drivers to load and unload trucks
• Material handling including picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting products, and similar duties
• Ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work is completed accurately
• Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D)
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure a safe and secure work environment including all TSA and OSHA guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to read a map and general geographic knowledge of the area
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. unassisted
• Good customer service skills
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions
• Ability to work well with others with minimal supervision
• High attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. unassisted
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English

Physical Requirements

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
• Regular use of hands and lifting objects above the head
• Regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds
• Use of pallet jacks and forklifts
• Regular use of a phone and PC
• Reading and writing of various shipping documents

Pay

$19 to $20 per hour
