Driver - Goods-Materials-Passenger - Long Island City, NY

Location: Long Island City, NY | Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods and materials to clients.
• Perform general warehouse duties, including stocking, retrieving packages, and organizing bulk containers.
• Assist with packouts by reading purchase orders, gathering required items, and preparing deliveries using dollies or hand trucks.
• Load and unload box trucks and vans efficiently and safely.
• Work in and out of walk-in refrigerators and freezers as needed.
• Take and record food product temperatures to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Requirements

• Experience in warehouse, delivery, food service, or logistics environments preferred.
• Ability to lift, move, and organize products safely.
• Comfortable working in cold storage areas (walk-in refrigerators/freezers).
• Ability to follow purchase orders and delivery instructions accurately.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record preferred.
