Driver (Full Time)

About the role

The Driver provides safe, reliable, and timely transportation services for clients participating in Pyramid Healthcare programs and is frequently the first person from our facility to interact face-to-face with our consumers. This position is responsible for transporting and supporting clients during travel, maintaining required transportation documentation, responding appropriately to emergencies, and promoting client safety and professionalism while representing the organization in facility and community settings. Our Drivers are an integral component in providing care and allowing access to care for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to and from specified locations within expected time frames
• Supervise and support clients while transporting
• Maintain all necessary documentation associated with services provided
• Respond to emergency situations
• Complete all required trainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license

Qualifications

Preferred:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Medical/EMS experience
• Experience in transportation of people (e.g., Uber, Lyft, NEMT)
• Basic understanding of Substance Use Disorder/Mental Health and the challenges these individuals face

Pay

Hourly Rate: $15/hour

Schedule

• Full Time
• Friday - Tuesday: 11am-7pm
• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday: 4pm-12am
