Driver - Class B Local
About the role
We are hiring a Driver- CDL A or B in Tigard, OR. The position offers a competitive salary range of $27.50-$34/hour, comprehensive family benefits, and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Safety and Vehicle Compliance: Maintain a safe driving record, adhere to company safety policies, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Delivery and Logistics: Load and unload service trucks, perform timely deliveries, and ensure all necessary load documents are accurate and available.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain required company and DOT records, identify potential cylinder problems, pull orders from the warehouse, and collect and submit customer payments.
- General Duties: Provide support to internal and external customers, handle inventory and delivery needs, and be available for occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL or CDL B with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements
- Candidates must currently have their HAZMAT
- Applicants must have a valid driver's license, medical card, and endorsements
- No more than two (2) traffic convictions or a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years
- No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years
- Able to work in a drug-free environment
- Able to lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment
- At least 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months
Qualifications
- Forklift experience preferred
- 1 year of CDL experience preferred
