Job Summary Are you an experienced Class B CDL Driver looking for a steady local position where you can get home everyday? Our Atlanta Healthcare Laundry facility is looking for a dependable, safety-focused CDL Class B Driver to join our transportation team. You’ll play an important role delivering clean linen products to healthcare customers and bringing soiled linen safely back to our facility. LOCAL ROUTES — HOME DAILYSet schedulesNo long-haul/OTR lifestyleDrive for an established healthcare laundry operationDirect customer interaction and professional routesBe part of a team supporting healthcare facilities and the communities they serveOpportunity to make a measurable impact every day The successful candidate As a CDL Class B Driver, you'll be responsible for: Collecting finished carts from the load-building areaMoving carts to the back dock and loading the appropriate delivery truckDelivering clean linen products to customersTransporting soiled linen back to the plantFollowing all DOT, federal, state, and local transportation requirementsFollowing OSHA requirements related to bloodborne pathogensCoordinating daily activities with Transportation, Plant Managers, and Team LeadersCommunicating effectively with customers and the operations teamMaintaining vehicle cleanliness, preventative maintenance, and proper disinfection procedures after transporting soiled linenFollowing all company safety policies and proceduresAssisting with other transportation and facility duties as needed Job Requirements Valid Class B CDL — REQUIREDClean MVRPrevious professional driving experienceHigh school diploma or GEDStrong communication and customer-service skillsGood organizational and analytical abilitiesBasic computer skills and willingness to learn new applicationsAbility to work independently while coordinating with a teamDependable, safety-minded attitudeAbility to meet all DOT and company requirements.
