The posted compensation range of $42.27 - $42.27 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
- Drives vehicle from facility to shopping, doctor's office, place of worship or other destination according to assigned schedule.
- Assists passengers into and out of vehicle.
- Operates radio, cell phone or similar device to communicate with facility or other vehicles to report disruption of service. Updates residents, etc, as needed.
- Makes extended trips requiring irregular hours.
- Picks up residents in response to radio or telephone relayed request for service.
- Assists passengers with purchases.
- Ensures sufficient number of walkers are available in vehicle.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current and valid Commercial Class B driver's license with Passenger Endorsement in the state of California - required if driving a passenger transportation vehicle designed to carry more than 10 passengers, including driver.
- First Aid, within 90 Days
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively with residents and staff.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Ability to demonstrate basic math skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and demonstrate good judgment and problem solving skills.
Qualifications
