Schedule
Class A or B CDL Driver – Home Daily – Monday–Friday. Our store hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, although drivers may work later based on business and delivery needs.
Pay
$24.00 to $28.00 per hour (DOE).

Responsibilities
- Drive delivery vehicles and/or operate truck-trailer combinations to transport and deliver materials to customer sites.
- Load or assist with loading and securing product, materials, or supplies inside the delivery vehicle.
- Deliver customer orders to specified delivery sites; maneuver vehicles into loading or unloading positions.
- Assist customers with unloading materials safely and accurately; protect product and the customer’s property.
- Verify order details and maintain logs of delivery duties including amounts and/or weights of items, mileage and locations of deliveries; check items against invoice to ensure order accuracy.
- Act as a customer service liaison between the company and the site customer; handle concerns and help resolve issues.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of delivery vehicles; perform routine safety checks to ensure vehicles comply with company guidelines.
- Use hand-held devices (except while driving) to ensure compliance with DVIR and HOS; maintain hours-of-service logs and pre-/post-trip inspection procedures.
- Perform credit/product return pick-ups and related paperwork as needed.
- Operate a forklift or non-motorized material-handling equipment to load and off-load materials to designated areas.
- Understand and observe all safety procedures and practices to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attend periodic safety meetings and may recommend safety improvements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 21+ years old
- Valid driver’s license and a Class B CDL license
- Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience (2 years of CDL driving experience strongly preferred)
- Pass MVR report
- Obtain a DOT medical card within five (5) days of request
- Fewer than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to read and speak the English language

Work Environment / Physical Activity
Work is performed within a production environment subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust. Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds frequently; may be required to lift and carry, with assistance, up to 200 pounds. May perform tasks involving climbing, lifting, pushing or kneeling. Must be able to physically operate delivery vehicles (climb up and down into cab, twist torso for 360-degree visibility, use arms to operate controls, etc.).
