Driver - Class A CDL - Walk In Hiring Event (PM Dispatch)

About the role

Quality Custom Distribution Services LLC (QCD) is a custom last-mile distribution company specializing in tailored solutions for selected food service industry customers. Located in Kent, WA, QCD is seeking Class A Delivery Drivers.

Responsibilities

• Make between 14–18 stops per day
• Drive 100% touch freight deliveries, capable of lifting up to 75+ pounds
• Dispatch between 3 PM – 6 PM
• Operate 36'–53' reefer trailers with liftgates
• Work 4 days on / 3 days off, including Saturdays and Sundays
• Work solo routes with consistent schedules
• Handle local, multi-stop deliveries
• Work holidays and weekends
• Receive paid time off and holidays
• Enjoy state-of-the-art equipment, including electric pallet jacks and 100% liftgate deliveries

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and current DOT Medical Certification card
• Class A CDL required
• One year of refrigerated trailer experience
• One year of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Effective communication skills for customer relations
• Ability to stand, walk, and repeatedly climb into/out of tractors
• Safety in extreme weather and cold environments
• Able to lift/handle cases ranging from 5–75 pounds
• Meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations requirements

• Read/speak English sufficiently to communicate with the public, understand highway signs, respond to official inquiries, and complete reports/records
