About the role
Class A CDL Driver –Spokane, WA
Responsibilities
- Drive for more than just a paycheck.
- Operate a diesel-powered tractor-trailer on local routes, teams - no layovers.
- Deliver food products safely and efficiently to restaurant customers.
- Load and unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks - this is a 100% touch-freight role.
- Complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and submit accurate paperwork.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, store personnel, and team members.
- Handle return loads and ensure equipment and deliveries are in compliance.
Requirements
- A valid Class A CDL, current DOT medical card, and 1 year of tractor-trailer driving and delivery experience is preferred but not required.
- We welcome new Drivers!
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs., stay active throughout the shift, and work in multi-temperature environments & elements.
- Strong customer service skills and clear communication with dispatch, store teams, and fellow drivers.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation.
- Ability to complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and meet all compliance requirements, including reading and speaking English as required by DOT regulations.
Schedule & Setting
- Dispatch at 4:00 PM - home daily.
- Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays.
- All trailers equipped with lift gates - no ramps.
- Touch freight - with repetitive lifting 50+ lbs.
Pay & Benefits
- Pay: Drivers are paid under a component-based structure that varies by client and route, with average annual earnings typically ranging from $83-$133k.
- Weekly pay (every Friday).
