Driver CDL - Weekend 1st Shift

About the Role

As a CDL Driver, you'll not only drive our equipment, but you'll also drive our success. You'll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily. You will operate a 26-foot box truck and a tractor pulling up to 53-foot trailers.

Schedule

Wednesday – Sunday, 7:30am – 3:30pm. Home daily.

Pay

Pay rates starting at $30.50/hr plus overtime pay available after 40 worked hours per week and a $2/hr shift premium. $3,000 referral bonus for you and the driver you refer when they start with GXO.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks and tractor trailers in and around the site or on public roads
• Touch freight position using pallet jacks to load and unload pallets and electronic equipment
• Drive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices
• Perform routine inspections
• Communicate effectively with dispatch

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• 6 months of Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) experience operating a tractor pulling 53-foot trailers within the last 3 years
• A current valid CDL A driver's license and a safe driving record

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds) (preferred)
