Driver - CDL B

About the role

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a CDL Driver (Class B) to deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer worksites. This role involves driving a flatbed or roll-back truck in urban, suburban, and rural settings, including tight spaces like construction zones. The position offers steady hours with overtime potential and opportunities to develop new skills in a safety-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and recover equipment, tools, and supplies to/from customer worksites.
• Drive flatbed or roll-back trucks safely in various conditions, including construction zones.
• Maintain accurate records and demonstrate detail orientation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues on-site using mechanical skills.
• Provide customer service with a focus on professionalism.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50+ pounds.
• Work indoors and outdoors as required by the job.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Valid Driver’s license with Class B CDL certification and a safe driving record.
• Previous experience driving, loading, and unloading tools or equipment.
• Mechanical skills to troubleshoot on-site issues.
• Customer service-focused attitude.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish or other) may be preferred in some locations.

Related experience may include: Roll-Back Driver, Flatbed Driver, Delivery Driver, Route Driver, Box Truck Driver, Stakebody Driver, or Appliance Delivery.

Pay

Base Pay Range: $24.05 - $36.07 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
