Responsibilities
- Transport residents to and from appointments and outings using community vehicles.
- Ensure residents receive all appropriate assistance during outings.
- Fulfill all operational tasks involving driving.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of experience as a bus/van driver.
- Valid and current driver's license for vehicle class driven at time of hire.
- Willing and able to obtain CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications or willing and able to become certified.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Clean DMV driving record.
- Knowledge of the surrounding neighborhood area.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and ability to deal with stress and the needs of older adults.
- Able to use a client and customer-focused approach to problem solving and goal setting.
- Sensitive to the needs of older adults.
Pay
Pay Range: USD $19.52 - USD $23.91 /Hr.
