Driver - CDL

About the role

The CDL Driver will provide safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to medical appointments, shopping, recreational outings, and other scheduled activities.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to appointments, activities, and scheduled outings.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections of the bus or assigned vehicle.
• Maintain accurate transportation logs, mileage records, and passenger attendance.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service while assisting residents entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, and team members.
• Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and ready for scheduled transportation.

Requirements

• A valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) Endorsement is required.
• A clean driving record and ability to meet company Driver Selection Policy requirements.
• Previous passenger transportation experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read maps or GPS directions and safely navigate local routes.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to resident safety.
• Ability to assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed.

Pay

• $17.25 per hour.
