Driver - CDL A (Nights)

Job Summary

Gold Star Foods is seeking Class A drivers for their Pendergrass, GA location. Responsibilities include route deliveries to K-12 schools in Northern California, driving newer Peterbilt and Freightliner trucks, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintaining a clean driving record.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform route deliveries to K-12 schools in Northern California
• Drive newer Peterbilt and Freightliner trucks equipped with lift gates and both electric and manual pallet jacks
• Use a 2-wheel dolly for deliveries to locations without docks
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Maintain a clean and accident-free driving record

Work Schedule

Monday–Friday Day Shift Start Times: 7pm until route is complete
Average: 45-55 hours in a 5-day work week

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Driver's License
• DOT Medical Certificate
• Benefits Motor Vehicle Record (10 years)
• Proficiency in driving tractor trailer
• Double endorsements
• TWIC card a plus
• Able to pass pre-employment drug, background screenings, and fingerprinting
