Driver - CDL A

About the role

As a Class A CDL Driver, you will deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer worksites. This role involves driving a Class A truck hauling equipment on a flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailer in urban, suburban, and rural settings, including tight spaces like construction zones. Safe driving in these conditions is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and recover equipment, tools, and supplies to/from customer worksites
• Drive a Class A truck with flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailers in various settings
• Navigate safely in tight spaces such as construction zones
• Troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and vehicle at job sites
• Maintain a customer service attitude

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s license with CDL Class A endorsement
• Acceptable driver's record
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Prior training and/or experience with similar commercial equipment (preferred)
• Experience driving flatbeds, RGN/lowboy, or dovetail trailers

Qualifications

The physical demands of this role require:

• Bending, squatting, crouching, and reaching
• Lifting 50 pounds or more
• Working indoors/outdoors as required by the job

Related experience may include: Long Haul Driver, Heavy Haul Driver, Lowboy Driver, Equipment Driver, Equipment Operator, Owner-Operator, or Delivery Driver.

Pay

Base pay range: $29.77 - $44.66 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on factors including location, education, training, and experience.
