Driver - CDL A

About the Role

Sunbelt Rentals, the fastest growing rental business in North America, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver and recover equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer worksites. This role involves driving a Class A truck with flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailers in diverse settings, including construction zones, requiring safe driving in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and recover equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer worksites.
• Operate a Class A truck with flatbed or RGN trailers in urban, suburban, and rural settings.
• Drive safely in tight spaces, such as construction zones.
• Troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and vehicles at job sites.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s license with CDL License and acceptable driver's record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior training and/or experience with similar commercial equipment preferred.
• Experience driving flat-beds, RGN/lowboy, or dovetail trailers.

Qualifications

• Customer service attitude.
• Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 50 pounds or more.
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors as required.

Skills

• Safe driving skills in various settings.

Pay

Base Pay Range: $29.77 - $44.66. Starting rate may vary based on factors including position, location, education, training, and experience.

Schedule

Paid time off includes: 12-25 vacation days (depending on years of service), 5 sick days, 6 holidays, 2 half-day holidays, 2 floating holidays, 1 inclusion day, and 1 volunteer day.
