Driver (CDL A)

About the role

Bay Insulation of Wisconsin in Green Bay is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver insulation products to job sites on schedule. The role includes professional customer interactions, on-time deliveries, and occasional warehouse assistance with production and material handling.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks of products and materials.
• Ensures truck maintenance standards are met.
• Performs daily pre-trip inspections and conducts minor maintenance as needed.
• Completes daily DOT logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Processes paperwork such as tickets and bills of lading.
• Ensures the customer signed the receipt of material and collects on COD charges.
• Verifies material counts are correct upon delivery to maintain inventory accuracy.

Requirements

• Valid CDL (Class A) license in compliance with company policy and DOT regulations.
• Two years of verifiable experience driving a tractor/trailer or straight truck within the last 5 years.
• Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs.
• Must maintain a valid license and acceptable driving record as per insurance provider’s requirements.
