What This Role Will Be Doing
- Drives gasoline or diesel powered tractor trailer combination to transport, unload, and deliver products to customers.
- Awareness of company goals and anticipation of problems impacting long-term goals, including quality control and setting high standards of workmanship.
- Maintain positive relations internally and externally through fluent communication.
- Duties include completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, checking loads, securing to DOT regulations, driving safely and legally, maintaining driver logs and inspection reports, assisting receivers in unloading and loading the truck, and maintaining a professional image.
- Work flexible schedules, including occasional overnight shifts to support business needs.
Education/Experience
- Minimum one year, 100,000 miles driving experience – preferred, but not required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Must possess a Class A CDL with air brake endorsement.
- Must pass a DOT Physical.
- Must pass a DOT Pre-employment drug test.
