Driver

Full-time, onsite role with Trio-Community-Meals in Montgomery, Alabama.

About the role

We are looking to add a skilled, experienced driver to our team. In this position, you will transport a variety of goods to various locations each day, ensuring safe and effective delivery while complying with all regulations.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from assigned destinations in a safe and effective manner, complying with all DOT rules and regulations alongside state and city traffic laws.
• Complete thorough inspections of any utilized company equipment before and after each trip.
• Maintain open communication with dispatch to report any issues or delays on the route.

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license for commercial vehicles and/or a medical card from an approved DOT medical examiner.
• Acceptable driving record and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• At least one year’s experience driving commercially (preferred).

Pay

$16.00 per hour.
