Driver

About the role

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of service to customers both safely and efficiently
• Deliver, remove, and empty various size containers
• Enter and exit the truck multiple times throughout the day to secure loads, hook and unhook boxes, and check equipment
• Drive safely and operate equipment
• Read and interpret a key map or GPS to locate service addresses
• Communicate clearly and effectively

Requirements

• Must have a CDL
• Good driving record
• Ability to drive a standard transmission
• Meet criteria for safety sensitive functions according to DOT and Company standards

Qualifications

• Ability to demonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment
• Ability to read and interpret a key map or GPS to locate service addresses
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills
• Physical stamina for lifting and moving heavy objects
• Knowledge of roll off container systems
