About the role

Stonington Institute, a division of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), is seeking a Driver to support substance abuse treatment programs in Southeastern Connecticut. The role involves transporting clients to and from various appointments, meetings, and facilities, including overnight travel to military bases. We accept private insurance, state-funded plans, and self-pay arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Transport new admissions and discharging clients.
• Transport clients to and from scheduled AA or NA meetings.
• Transport rehabilitation clients to and from various military bases, which may result in overnight travel.
• Pick up and deliver prescription medications to Stonington Institute locations.
• Transport clients to and from scheduled medical appointments.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no major violations.
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and navigation systems.
• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• PSL endorsement preferred.
