Primary Duties
- Load truck with all food and nonfood items needed in an organized and accurate method to avoid forgetting anything and potential product damage.
- All daily paperwork is accurately and thoroughly completed.
- Delivery times, special notes (unexpected site closing, site refusing food, etc.) and site contact receiving signatures must be completed before turning in paper work at end of shift.
- Follow delivery time schedule of food to customers, and report any delivery problems, product quality issues and site complaints to Lead Driver in a timely manner.
- Performs daily truck maintenance check and reports any issues to Lead Driver.
- Maintains required driver licensing/DOT medical card and follows all federal, state and local traffic laws.
Secondary Duties
- Aid packers and kitchen staff as requested by Lead Driver, Lead Packer, Operations Manager and Culinary Management.
- Cleans hot food storage containers and inside of truck on a daily basis.
- Follows all food safety standards as determined by Baltimore City Health Department and Good Harvest Community Kitchen.
- Completes all other tasks as requested by management.
- Attends and participates fully in all required staff meetings.
- Performs other tasks as assigned within the scope of the position.
