Responsibilities

• Drive established routes to deliver products to assigned locations.
• Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Adhere to safe and courteous operation of the delivery vehicle.
• Complete all required paperwork daily, including DOT logbook and driver vehicle inspection report (DVIR).
• Maintain company uniform standards (neat, clean, properly attired).
• Follow all safety regulations and perform duties safely.
• Plan trip logistics and obtain necessary transport documents.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper use of safety equipment.
• Secure cargo in compliance with safety requirements.
• Communicate schedule changes, delays, arrivals, or equipment problems.
• Observe all traffic laws.
• Keep vehicle, product, and equipment tidy and in good working order.
• Work flexible hours, including early mornings (4:00 a.m.–6:00 a.m. start times), evenings, and Saturdays; overtime may be required.
• Comply with SEKO’s C‑TPAT Security Profile.
• Participate in developing a safe and healthy workplace and follow safety instructions.
• Co‑operate with management to meet legislative obligations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED.
• 2–5 years driving experience in a distribution environment.
• Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Department of Transportation (DOT) certification.
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License required.
• Experience with route delivery/driving.

Skills

• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail for processing large numbers of deliveries.
• Strong written and verbal communication, persuasion, motivation, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and job‑related software applications.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem‑solving, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of GPS navigation technology.
• Familiarity with the delivery area and alternate routes.

Pay

The base salary range for this role is $25 – $36 USD per year, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

Schedule
