About the role

Professional Transportation, Inc. (PTI) has been providing crew transportation services for railroads since 1980 and is known for quality, dependable, and safe operations. As a PTI Van Driver you will safely transport railroad crew members to and from locations as requested by railroad customers. Trip lengths and times vary, and safety is the top priority. No prior professional driving experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and practice safety awareness.
• Prioritize on‑time performance to meet customer needs.
• Pick up and drop off customers safely to their destinations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Communicate timely with the Dispatch Center.
• Open and close all doors/hatches for crew members.
• Report any defects, mechanical problems, or missing items found during vehicle inspection to your supervisor.
• Promote and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years driving experience (personal or work‑related).
• Ability to pass a post‑offer drug screening, motor vehicle record check, and homeland security background check.
• Ability to arrive at the branch location within 30 minutes to ensure on‑time performance.
