Driver

Presbyterian Homes & Services - GracePointe Crossing is seeking a Driver to operate the campus van, providing shuttle services for residents on campus and periodic transportation to off-campus activities.

Responsibilities

• Organize and provide a shuttle service for residents.
• Maintain a daily schedule, plan routes, and schedule riders accordingly.
• Provide door-to-door service for residents with mobility impairments, escorting them from their home or apartment to the van and into their destination building.
• Collaborate with staff and residents to organize periodic transportation for off-campus activities.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• Class A or B driver’s license with passenger endorsement as required by site and vehicle driven.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance to ensure safe operation and troubleshoot problems.
• Current and valid medical certificate in compliance with Department of Transportation requirements.
• Excellent driving record.
• Patience, tact, positive attitude, and enthusiasm; willingness to work as a team player.
• Flexibility, personal integrity, and ability to work independently and effectively with residents, coworkers, family members, visitors, and the public.
• Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate with all customers.

Pay

The estimated starting pay range for this role is $19.09 - $20.59 per hour. Actual pay depends on individual qualifications and market conditions.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
