POSITION SUMMARY
OneWater Marine is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of boats and equipment, and supporting various operations related to our marine industry services.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely transports and moves boats and equipment as assigned, delivers boats to ramp or customer home, Uses forklift to mover boats and trailers.
- Follows all safety and compliance regulations
- Maintains company vehicle in proper condition, upkeep of logs/mileage/fluid changes and maintains our Fleetin Fleetio, our Fleet Management solution.
- Clearly communicates to management the schedule and timing of all assignments
- Completes all other tasks as requested by management
- Reports any damages or concerns about the boats or equipment to management
- Other duties as requested
SKILLS
- Exhibits positive and energetic demeanor in the work environment to contribute to Sales and Service team member objectives
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Demonstrates attentiveness when customers are on the lot, assisting as needed
- Promotes team attitude and supports other team members, departments and locations to ensure the customer has a seamless experience through the sale, delivery, and subsequent servicing of the boat
- Preserves the professional image of the company while traveling
- Manages our fleet of vehicles and trailers in Fleetio
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Valid CDL Driver’s License
- Experience operating larger vehicles and transporting big equipment
- Forklift certification preferred
- Clean MVR
- Pass drug screening and background check
