Driver
About the role
Mt. Grant General Hospital has an opening for a per diem Driver. The primary objective for the Driver is providing safe, courteous, and on schedule transportation to our clients. Drivers are expected to work with the Transportation Scheduler, Maintenance, and Administrator to ensure that all residents can access transportation. Residents are to be treated with respect, courtesy, and graciousness always. The Driver is expected to foster the best possible relations with staff members, residents, providers, and office staff members. Reports to Director of Facilities. Trips range in distance throughout Nevada.

- Work with Transportation Scheduler, Maintenance, and Administrator to ensure all residents can access transportation
- Treat residents with respect, courtesy, and graciousness at all times
- Foster best possible relations with staff members, residents, providers, and office staff members
Requirements
- Valid unencumbered Nevada driver's license (no motor vehicle violations including, but not limited to, Driving Under the Influence or other related charges)
- 21 years of age or older
- Able to operate midsize automobile and passenger van
- Flexible schedule to work rotating early or mid-morning shifts
- Per NRS 449 and NRS 200.5091, successful applicant(s) must pass required state and federal background checks
Schedule
Applicant shall work 8-16 days a month, depending on transportation needs. This is a per diem position, without benefits.
Pay
Compensation is $16.95 per hour, and meals provided during out-of-town trips.
