Driver

Temporary, full-time position based in Peabody.

About the role

Drive and transport prescribed medications—filled by pharmacy technicians and pharmacists—to patients’ homes. Routes may extend beyond the greater Lynn area to surrounding communities such as Saugus, Revere, Peabody, Swampscott, Salem, and others.

Responsibilities

• Transport prescribed medication throughout the community and surrounding areas as needed.
• Assist in loading all deliveries onto applicable routes and in/out of the vehicle.
• Use preventative measures to consistently maintain the vehicle’s interior and exterior, ensuring safe transportation.
• Immediately notify the Director of any unusual incidents, driver injuries, falls, patient interactions, or accidents.
• Perform other duties as requested.
• Comply with LCHC policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid state Driver’s License from the state of residence.
• Minimum 2 years of safe driving experience.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish (highly preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of safe driving experience in transportation services.
• Minimum 1 year of experience delivering medication to patients’ or clients’ homes.
