Driver

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond to all guest requests for shuttle service in a prompt and courteous manner
• Aid guests with luggage while boarding and offloading the vehicle
• Operate vehicle in compliance with state laws and airport rules
• Explain and promote hotel facilities, outlets, and services to guests
• Provide information to guests regarding local attractions and activities
• Perform daily inspection of vehicles; take necessary action to correct deficiencies or unsafe conditions
• Keep vehicles clean and neat at all times
• Respond appropriately to guest complaints
• Inform supervisor of major problems, complaints, disturbances, or dissatisfied guests

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent, plus some guest service experience or driving experience preferred
• Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• The job requires ability to perform the following: Carrying, pushing, or lifting items weighing up to 100 pounds, Moving about the public areas, Handling objects, products and computer equipment, Bending, stooping, kneeling
• Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with clients, guests, and employees
• Reading and writing abilities are utilized often
• Basic math skills are used frequently
