About the role
High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency committed to treating and preventing substance use disorders and mental illness. We offer a range of programs across Southeastern Massachusetts, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services, as well as support for survivors of abuse and violence and families experiencing homelessness.
Responsibilities
- Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part II, and confidentiality of alcohol and drug abuse patients.
- Pick up and deliver clients to pre-arranged designated areas.
- Pick up and deliver from and to various pre-arranged destinations for administrative purposes.
- Recognize appropriate boundaries and report inappropriate behavior.
- Do not veer off designated routes for unauthorized stops.
- Utilize standard precautions at all times.
- Demonstrate behaviors recognizing the rights of patients as defined by the patient rights.
- Maintain a smoke-free environment in both company and personal vehicle.
- Complete an incident/accident/environmental report when required.
- Maintain a vehicle transportation log on each vehicle.
- Inspect vehicle prior and after each transport, including presence of first aid kit.
- May be required to escort/remain with client when needed.
- Keep vehicle maintained and clean at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Area/Program Director.

Pay & Schedule
- Pay Range: $20 - $24/hr
- Schedule: Full Time
Driver Requirements
- Provide a valid driver’s license and current driving record.
- Provide a current copy of auto registration with automobile insurance (only if using own personal vehicles).
- Provide a current copy of vehicle’s inspection report (only if using own personal vehicles).
