Position Overview

At Foundation Building Materials (FBM), our Drivers are essential—delivering materials safely, efficiently, and with pride. Enjoy local routes, daily home time, competitive pay, and a supportive culture built on safety and respect. Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles (up to 26’ trucks), including flatbeds, moffetts, cube vans, and boom trucks, in compliance with company and Transport Canada regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and roadworthiness
• Deliver building materials to job sites on time, unload and verify deliveries, and provide courteous, professional customer service
• Inspect and secure truck loads before departure and ensure materials are properly staged per customer instructions
• Possess basic knowledge of building materials, forklift operation, and delivery equipment
• Operate forklift and other company vehicles and equipment as trained and instructed
• Safety: Adhere to all driving regulations based on state and/or jurisdiction policies such as wearing a seatbelt, maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, follow all safety protocols and OSHA requirements to maintain a safe working environment, use proper lifting techniques, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing
• Communication: Communicate operational challenges and improvement ideas to the manager, collaborate with team members and assist in other areas as needed to support operational goals
• Qualifications: Possess valid [appropriate license class here] license, minimum 1-year consistent commercial driving experience, works well in a team environment, display leadership and may be requested to direct and supervise within their department

Compensation: The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Base: $24.00 per hour
