F.E. Moran is seeking an experienced CDL Class A Driver based in the Chicagoland area.
About You
- Extensive commercial driving experience and strong directional knowledge of the greater Chicagoland area
- Possess a CDL Class A License; maintain DOT and license requirements; hold Illinois forklift operator’s certification
- Adhere to all safety regulations and able to meet physical demands of the position
- Available as needed; working additional hours including weekends
- Proactive self-starter who gets the job done well even without direct oversight
Responsibilities
- Properly secure all freight for travel; transport construction products and materials throughout the greater Chicagoland area
- Maintain all required documentation, logbooks, and vehicle records
- Perform frequently required vehicle inspections
- Provide support in the warehouse, including operating a forklift and loading/unloading heavy materials
- Effectively communicate with customers and other employees, building positive relationships
