Compass Intervention Center is seeking a dynamic and talented Patient Transportation Driver. Responsibilities

• Provides transportation of patients to and from outpatient treatment daily in a safe and professional manner
• Available to provide transport for patients to and from medical and needed appointments
• Effective communication with dispatcher
• Managing pre and post-trip inspections of vehicles
• Must understand and be able to operate GPS devices and cell phones
• Perform all duties as assigned by Transport Coordinator
• Creates a safe environment for clients
• Provides direct supervision of clients
• Participates as an integral member of the treatment team
• Participates in developing the continuing care plan with regard to educational placement upon discharge
• Provides age and developmentally appropriate education in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Compass Intervention Center

Requirements

• Drivers must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• TN Driver License with F Endorsement or Commercial Driver License
• Physical Examination (at least as extensive as the Department of Transportation's Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration for Commercial Drivers)
