Driver

Position Overview: Operate tractor-trailer combinations to pick up and deliver freight, supporting sales efforts and maintaining safety standards. Essential Duties Drive various truck types, perform pre-trip inspections, and handle freight using motorized/manual equipment.Secure freight with pallets, straps, and ropes; repair damaged goods when needed.Complete documentation, verify compliance with hazardous material regulations, and collect freight charges.Communicate with dispatch and customers, provide customer service, and solicit additional business.Perform duties such as tire chaining or supporting roles as necessary, adhering to laws and company policies. Qualifications & Skills Class A CDL with double/triple, hazardous materials, and tank endorsements.One year of recent driving experience or completion of a driver development course.Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record and compliance with DOT regulations.Ability to perform basic math, lift up to 100 pounds, and work independently or in teams.Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions. Working Conditions: Drive in varying weather and road conditions, with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and hazardous materials, requiring adaptability and safety awareness.
