Position Overview: This role involves picking up and delivering freight between Service Centers and customers, supporting sales efforts, and ensuring safe, efficient operations. Key Responsibilities Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and straight trucks.Perform daily safety and pre-trip inspections.Hook and unhook trailers and convertors.Handle freight using equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, securing cargo properly.Verify documentation, complete reports, and ensure compliance with hazardous material regulations.Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding deliveries and pick-ups.Provide excellent customer service and seek additional business opportunities.May perform tire chaining and other operational duties as needed.Adhere to all legal, safety, and company policies. Qualifications & Skills Class A CDL with double/triple, hazardous materials, and tank endorsements.At least one year of recent driving experience or successful completion of a driver development course.Valid Motor Vehicle Record and DOT compliance.Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, perform basic math, and communicate effectively.Ability to work independently or in a team, and follow instructions.
