Driver

About the role

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Warehouse and Support staff as a Driver based out of Saginaw, Michigan. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure delivery and pickup of inventory and equipment while maintaining safety and adhering to program, practice, and operations guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with clients for appliance collection in a safe and timely manner while driving a 26" box truck.
• Operate general hand tools, pallet jack, and hand truck.
• Organize stock and maintain inventory in the warehouse, vehicles, and remote stocking locations.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform routine inspections, cleanings, and minor maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain driver logbooks and items required by DQ file per DOT standards.
• Qualify and record all data on appliance pick-ups.
• Complete all necessary paperwork for processing.
• Absorb and assist in the de-manufacturing of appliances as needed.
• Secure vehicles, warehouse, equipment and data from damage or theft.
• Additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Be able to travel locally.
• 1-2 years relevant industry experience.
• High School Diploma (required).
• Chauffeurs License and valid Michigan DOT Medical Card (required).
• Ability to lift heavy objects to perform daily job duties/tasks.

Pay

Compensation Range: $17.40 - $26.00 USD
