Responsibilities

• Check and load material onto the truck in the staging area
• Create shipping manifests
• Perform truck maintenance inspections
• Deliver material to customers and/or Capital Electric branch locations in a timely and professional manner
• Drive defensively, cautiously, and respectfully to various locations
• Unload and place material where requested by the customer
• Provide good customer service
• Pick up customer returns and unload truck of customer returns
• Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
• Be punctual and work diligently with coworkers
• Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks throughout the day
• Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

• 2 years of driving experience, including operating a 20 ft. box truck
• Ability to pass the DOT physical
• No prior traffic violations or license suspensions for at least one year
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly; up to 70 lbs. occasionally
• Reliable, responsible, and strong work ethic
